Milena Martínez Alicino studied at the “Royal Conservatory of Music” in Madrid, with Ana Guijarro. She continued her studies at the “Queen Sophia College of Music”, with Galina Eguiazarova. Following that, she graduated at the “Hochschule für Musik” in Basel. At the moment she is attending a master’s degree programe at the “Conservatory van Amsterdam”, under the guidance of David Kuyken.
During this time, she has also received advice and lessons from international figures such as Ferenc Rados, Robert Levine, Boris Berman, Dmitri Alexeev, Stephen Kovacevich, Edoardo Torbianelli, Rayner Schmidt and Claudio Martínez-Mehner, among others.
Milena is first prize winner at the “XVI Pedro Bote International Competition”, “XXX Marisa Montiel Competition”, “XIX Jacinto Guerrero Competition”, “VI Teresa Llacuna lnternational Competition”, “IX Ciudad del Ejido International Competition” and second prize winner at the “XV lnfanta Cristina Loewe-Hazen National Competition”.
She has performed in several halls throughout Spain, France, Italy, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland and Holland. Especial mention deserves his first performance at the fortepiano of the Mozart Concerto in C Minor K. 491 with the Sweelinck Baroque Orchestra in 2018.
In 2018 she receives a grand piano from the National Instrument Foundation.
